However, for all the people new to the company, let’s start out with a short history lesson, so you know how we ended up where we did.
Starting point (2013)
Berú - now GoPublic - was built on the vision of being a small no nonsense, tightly knit and coordinated digital agency with the ambition to never grow above 15 employees.
Why? Because having great relationships with clients as well as with your colleagues was the dream. And that's much easier if you’re a small organization and not a big org with lot’s of management levels and bureaucracy.
Also Rasmus had worked for years at an agency who always said “next year will become really profitable, we just have to do this first, invest some more”. And so the years went. Alway looking forward to next year.
At Berú we had the ambition to be very profitable each year. As a positive side effect: Not having a management level too worried about profits gives a more relaxed atmosphere for everybody.
